As a community hospital, Floyd relies on volunteers of all ages to help support the health care services we offer. More than 300 community volunteers display their talents through a variety of functions from assisting with patient care to fund-raising.

How to Become a Volunteer
Call 706.509.5109 or email to get started. You will be registered for our two hour volunteer orientation. After completing the training, you will:

• Schedule a Health and Wellness Appointment
• Get your ID badge at Human Resources
• Visit Volunteer Services and get your official volunteer polo and vest
• Be assigned to a volunteer area

Volunteer Requirements
• Commit to 4 hours per week or 100 hours per year   with a one year minimum (2 consecutive semesters for college students)

• Be at least 18 years old
